Peacocking with Glasses

I’ve read a lot of places about something called peacocking that really makes you stand out as a person and be an individual. Well the problem with that is that if you go too far then you end up being mr. “I try way too hard to stand out” and that’s just tacky. I think the idea is to use little subtle things that stand out so that you get heads turning towards you but at the same time people don’t think you’re being a complete tool. Red sunglasses are a great way to do this for anyone wearing any kind of an outfit.

The thing about red sunglasses is nobody thinks that you’re trying to stand out because sunglasses are like a seperate accessory like an umbrella. What I mean is that you can have an umbrella that doesn’t match your outfit and nobody cares, but if your shirt and shoes are way off color then you look like a retard! Red sunglasses are the same way, they’re subtle enough that you don’t look like you’re trying but they’re cool enough that people will notice you.

Most people just own black glasses, those are so typical and black is the main color that everyone chooses. You really have to be brave and just buy something that stands out and makes you look different. It’s really not the big a deal and you can find them on the net for life five bucks so it’s more like a why not thing.

I guess my point is that you can stand out among the crowd without looking like a complete tool.
